Scalable isolation of RNA (including small RNA)
MagMAX™ mir< /i>Vana™ Total RNA Isolation Kit is designed to isolate total RNA (including small RNAs such as microRNA) from a variety of sample types. This kit uses MagMAX magnetic bead technology to reproducibly recover high-quality RNA suitable for a variety of applications, including TaqMan™ miRNA detection assays.
When used with the KingFisher™ Duo Prime or KingFisher™ Flex Magnetic Particle Processor, the magnetic bead purification format allows you to easily scale from processing 6 samples at a time to processing 96 samples at a time. Alternatively, samples can be processed manually using a magnetic stand.
MagMAX mirVana Total RNA Isolation Kit features include:
•Automated, phenol-free extraction
•Suitable for a variety of non-invasive biological samples as well as tissues and Simplified protocol for cell culture
•Pure miRNA recovery compatible with miRNA-Seq and qRT-PCR methods such as TaqMan™ Advanced miRNA cDNA Synthesis Kit and TaqMan™ Advanced miRNA Assay
一Kits for isolating true total RNA from many different sample types
Why buy multiple purification kits to isolate all the RNA present in different sample types? The MagMAXmirVana Total RNA Isolation Kit eliminates the challenge of ordering a “dedicated” kit because the kit has been optimized for use with most biological samples. Separate specific kits are no longer needed to isolate microRNA from plasma and solid tissue samples.
This kit is designed for low- and high-throughput isolation of true total RNA, covering all RNA present in cells, from small RNAs such as microRNA to non-coding RNA, messenger RNA and ribosomal RNA. . The phenol-free, magnetic bead format makes this kit perfectly suitable for automated RNA isolation from the following samples:
• Serum/Plasma
• Whole blood
• Tissue
• Cell culture
• Urine
Advantages of MagMAX Magnetic Bead Purification
Magnetic beads offer many advantages over other technologies for isolating total RNA. Magnetic beads bind RNA more efficiently than glass fiber filter columns, resulting in higher and more consistent yields. Additionally, since no filter columns are used, there is no risk of cell particles in the sample clogging the filter columns.
